We evaluated the impact of complementary medicine on the side-effects of hormone therapy in prostate cancer patients. In a study of 93 patients experiencing severe side-effects, we utilized sodium selenite, plant enzymes, and Lc-lectin. Over 50 days, we documented noticeable reductions in bone pain and other side-effects. Specifically, bone pain severity decreased significantly from a score of 4.74 to 2.82. This suggests that complementary treatments can be beneficial in managing hormone therapy side-effects.

Clodronic acid reduces bone pain
[Use of clodronic acid in mineral metabolism conditions: state of the art in 2000].
We investigated the effectiveness of clodronic acid, a bisphosphonate, in managing bone pain and improving bone density, particularly for conditions like post-menopausal osteoporosis. Through various clinical trials, clodronic acid demonstrated its ability to enhance bone mineral density after six months, with benefits continuing for years.
Notably, treatment also led to significant reductions in bone pain and the occurrence of vertebral fractures. With its well-tolerated administration routes and competitive pricing, clodronic acid proves to be a valuable option for those suffering from excessive bone resorption conditions.

Bone Strength is an outstanding supplement. I conducted some research and appreciated that the calcium comes from a plant source, along with magnesium, strontium, vitamin D, and vitamin K, which together strengthen bones. When taken separately, it's uncertain if the ratios are correct. For instance, while strontium may initially enhance bone density during tests, it can leave bones hollow and brittle. Six years ago, I had a bone density rating of -2.5 (osteoporosis) and suffered from persistent aches in my knees and back. Remarkably, within six months of taking this supplement, my knee pains ceased entirely. Regular bone density tests show a notable improvement, with my rating rising from -2.5 to -1.4. Progress takes time; at 74, I’m encouraged by my results.

This product truly works! Three years ago, I was on the brink of osteoporosis, experiencing debilitating pain and height loss. My doctor advised against harsh osteoporosis medications, which she herself wouldn't use. Post hip surgery in 2018, I found it challenging to exercise. After extensive research, I began taking New Chapter Bone Strength. I recently had my bone density scan, and I'm thrilled to report improvements; my doctor was ecstatic with the results. Given my limited ability to exercise until recently, I attribute this success solely to the supplement. Though I'm no healthcare professional, my positive experience compels me to recommend it highly.

I started taking this product prior to a hip revision with bone grafts in three locations and continued until three months post-operative. My doctor informed me that the bone graft has bridged and has become solid one month earlier than he had anticipated. I am thoroughly convinced by this item.

Significant density increase

This is definitely not a con, although it is expensive, but after taking it for three years, my bone density has increased significantly!
Bone pain is a discomfort or ache that originates within the bones themselves and can range from mild to severe. It is different from muscle or joint pain, as it directly affects the skeletal structure. Bone pain can be caused by a variety of factors, including injuries, medical conditions such as osteoarthritis or osteoporosis, infections, or tumors. Symptoms may vary depending on the underlying cause but often include a dull, penetrating ache that may worsen with movement or pressure.
If you're experiencing persistent bone pain, it’s essential to consult with a healthcare professional for a proper diagnosis and treatment plan. Imaging tests like X-rays, MRI, or CT scans may be utilized to determine the root cause of the pain. Treatment can vary widely, ranging from medications to alleviate pain and inflammation to physical therapy or, in some cases, surgical interventions. Understanding the underlying cause is crucial to effectively managing bone pain and ensuring the best path to recovery.
Bone formulas, often found in supplements, typically contain a blend of vitamins and minerals designed to support bone health, such as calcium, vitamin D, and magnesium. While these nutrients are essential for maintaining healthy bones and may help prevent bone-related issues in the long term, their immediate effect on existing bone pain can vary from person to person. For individuals experiencing chronic pain due to conditions like osteoporosis or arthritis, bone formulas might provide some relief by supporting overall bone health, but they are not a direct treatment for acute pain.
It is crucial to consult with a healthcare professional before starting any new supplement regimen, especially if you're dealing with persistent bone pain. They can help determine if a bone formula is appropriate for your situation and guide you toward other treatment options if necessary. It's also worth noting that supplements should complement a well-rounded diet and not be viewed as a sole solution for bone health or pain management.

Knee pain relief

After researching, I chose this plant-sourced calcium supplement, which includes magnesium, strontium, vitamin D, and vitamin K, working together to strengthen bones. Taking each separately can lead to incorrect proportions, risking hollow bones. Six years ago, my bone density test showed -2.5 (osteoporosis) in my hips and back, with constant knee pain. However, after six months on this supplement, my knee pain completely vanished. It's reassuring that my bone density has improved over these years and not deteriorated.

At 85, I was diagnosed with osteoporosis but refused injections for treatment. Instead, I chose calcium tablets and shifted towards whole milk. Discovering New Chapter Bone Strength took time, but after taking it for nine months, a recent bone density test showed no issues – everything returned to normal! I attribute this to strength exercises, a low-carb diet, walking, and taking three capsules daily.

The New Chapter slim tablets are the third or fourth brand of bone support supplement I have taken over the years. My latest DEXA scan showed slight improvement in my osteopenia, and I expect even better results by my next scan in a few years!

This is a solid bone-building supplement but it's quite pricey compared to others. While it’s undoubtedly high quality, I believe cheaper alternatives like coral calcium could be equally effective. I bought it on discount, but wouldn't pay full price given the options available.
